Born and raised in Brooklyn, I am attorney Scott G. Cerbin and I have more than 15 years of experience helping New York City individuals as they face the complexities associated with a vast array of criminal charges.  I have won an acquittal after trial in each of the five boroughs of New York City; a feat few practicing attorneys can claim.

I decided to become an attorney after I was arrested on a criminal charge. I understand how stressful and overwhelming it can be to face this process with an attorney who does not listen to nor fully represent the needs of his clients. But my second lawyer dedicated his time and energy to avidly protecting my rights and helping me pursue the best outcome possible. His work inspired me to go to law school so I could help people in the same way he helped me.

When I'm not in my office, I enjoy training for and running marathons. I firmly believe that marathon runners make great attorneys — we understand the value in setting goals and planning an appropriate pace in which to achieve them. I love the work I do and I am committed to helping my clients plan for a brighter future, regardless of the nature of their crime. To learn more about my qualifications, follow the link below.
